Press release: The impact on civilian areas and protection of displaced persons due to the territorial expansionist war of aggression of the Bangkok government and the Thai military from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm on 18 December 2025

On 18 December 2025, the Ministry of Interior issued a press release reporting that from 7 December to 1:00 PM on 18 December 2025, the Thai government and military’s indiscriminate aggression resulted in 18 Cambodian deaths, 79 injuries, and the displacement of nearly 480,000 people (over 140,000 families), including more than 240,000 women and 130,000 children. The report detailed extensive damage to civilian infrastructure, including 4 casino buildings, 3 hotels, 4 other buildings, a community agricultural center, 3 bridges (stone, steel, and a bridgehead), a gas station, 5 vehicles, and a cassava warehouse. Essential public services remain suspended due to intensified attacks by the Royal Thai Army, Navy, and Air Force using all types of weapons.
